Family planning & Sexual Health – North of England -Teeside/Liverpool Northern Ireland

Our client has been working with major Pharmaceutical companies to deliver successful and innovative nursing programmes in the UK for almost 30 years. In this time, they have built effective working relationships with key clients, leading to increased focus on NHS initiatives. They have worked in a variety of therapy areas and long term conditions including Diabetes, COPD, MS and family planning. This expertise has helped them to facilitate over 150 programmes of varying sizes.

We are currently seeking high calibre Nurse Advisors who are committed to delivering a bespoke programme on behalf of a leading Pharmaceutical company. Working in primary care, you will be providing the necessary support and training to Health Care professionals and GP practices. This will involve the promotion of ‘best practice’ to ultimately maximise patient satisfaction and increase confidence.

The successful candidate will be highly qualified and skilled Contraception and Sexual Health Specialist, with the experience and credibility to engage with general practices and commissioning groups alike.

Nurse Advisors/specialists require an up to date RGN [current NMC Pin number] and preferably have practice nurse or community experience and ideally a relevant therapy specific diploma or certificate. (Family planning - FP certificate preferred).

It is of paramount importance that you are passionate about people and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Self motivation and enthusiasm for the role are essential qualities needed to build excellent rapport and patient trust. The ability to present information and ‘sell the benefit’ to gain buy in, is an integral part of this rewarding post.

Working as a Nurse advisor is both a challenging and varied role. You should be focused on time management, with the capacity to prioritise caseloads and general workload. Ideal attributes:
• Have a minimum 2 years post registration experience
• Be a registered Nurse with current NMC ideally with Practice/community experience
• Highly qualified and skilled Contraception and sexual health specialist
• Flexible approach and 'can do' attitude
• Possess a passion for patient care
• Excellent communication skills
• Current eligibility to work in the UK
• Full UK driving licence
