Our client's current Market Access team is leading the way providing high level expertise with exceptional NHS knowledge and market access experience, across the UK. The opportunity to lead this team, working directly with their biopharma alles and the NHS, managing highly skilled individuals across diverse projects, is an exciting challenge for an experienced man manager with strong market access background to take on.

The team work with high level prescribing and non prescribing influencers, utilizing expertise of working in the NHS and/or Pharmaceutical industry, coupled with expert local health economy stakeholder knowledge and superior market access strategy skills.

As Head of this Market Access team you will provide excellent leadership and support for the team, understanding our organization's policies and procedures, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance and guiding professional development. Importantly you will have direct contact with many customers and have an important role in business development and project management.

Successful candidates will have a proven track record of people management, at minimum first line management, ideally second line experience plus strong understanding of the current NHS environment- structure, strategy and direction -and will be familiar with barriers to market access in this arena.

You will be accustomed with influencing and building relationships with key customers, whilst possessing a good strategic and tactical understanding of the current issues and challenges facing NHS managers, along with a strong commercial focus.

Key skills/Experience required:

· Experience of leading a teams of specialists within Pharma e.g Market Access, HDMs etc

· Experience of working in the new NHS environment liaising with key influencers and developing mature relationships, implementing solutions with the bigger commercial picture in mind
